Mount Meru Travel Advice

Mount Meru requires good preparation, particularly because conditions can change quickly as you gain altitude. Start the climb with proper trekking shoes, layered clothing, sun protection, a waterproof jacket and enough water for each day on the trail. Pace yourself steadily and allow time to acclimatize, especially during the higher sections where the air becomes noticeably thinner.
