Introduction

Discover the wild heart of northern Tanzania on an unforgettable 11-day adventure through some of the country’s most remarkable landscapes and wildlife destinations. From the cultural atmosphere of Lake Eyasi to the vast plains of Serengeti, the dramatic Ngorongoro Crater, and the elephant-rich wilderness of Tarangire, this journey brings together the many sides of a classic Tanzania safari.

Starting from Arusha, the adventure takes you beyond the usual game-drive experience. At Lake Eyasi, you can experience a different side of Tanzania through its local communities and traditional way of life before continuing into the northern safari circuit. Serengeti then opens up a world of endless plains, where lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest roam across one of Africa’s most famous ecosystems.

The journey continues to the Ngorongoro Crater, where the enclosed volcanic landscape creates exceptional opportunities for wildlife viewing, before finishing among the baobabs and large elephant herds of Tarangire National Park. With 11 days to explore, there is time to slow down, take in the scenery, and experience Tanzania beyond simply ticking destinations off a list.
